who
am I ?

Beekeeper for many years, I live with the seasons in my native land the “Languedoc”,
located between Cevennes’ mountains and Mediteranean sea.
............................................................................
On the seaside, not far from the shore, I collect the pollen
of ciste from April to mid-May. I gather also honey of Thyme, Rosemary and
honey from others flowers growing in the garrigue. My hives are located in
the middle of La Gardiole mountain owned by the ONF (Office National des Forêts).
Later in the season, when the sun begin to burn the garrigue, I take my
hives to the Cevennes.
I share them between two areas, one in Blateiras near the “Bambouseraie
d’Anduze” and the other in the remoted part of the mountains named
“Hautes Cévennes” near St Michel de Dèze.
The Cevennes are well known for their wonderful landscapes, the particular
taste of their goat’s cheeses named “Pelardons” but so,
for their honey of heather and chestnut trees.
My hives are always settled in areas remoted from any human activity, far
from urban areas, industries, motorways, but also large scale farming. To
be far from extensive farming doesn’t allow to get big amount of honey,
but it ensures a honey of high quality.
You certainly understood that my ambition is to gather honey on the more natural
way (I never use chemical compounds or medecine in my hives).
I would like to share with you my passion for bees and for nature,
through some safe and tasty products, really helpfull for our health.
